The official report of all parliamentary debates. It’s a summer’s morning in 1988 and Tory politician Robin Hesketh has returned home to the idyllic Cotswold house he shares with his wife of 30 years, Diana. But all is not as blissful as it seems. Diana has a stinking hangover, a fox is destroying the garden, and secrets are being dug up all over the place. As the day draws on, what starts as gentle ribbing and the familiar rhythms of marital sparring quickly turns to blood-sport.

This is a print of the National Theatre 2019 production poster for Hansard. The bookshop has collaborated with the Archive team to bring you an exclusive collection of custom prints taken from original National Theatre artworks.

Print sizes

Please note all prints on paper have a white border surrounding the image.  Our prints are printed on demand and are therefore ineligible for refunds. As each print is hand made to order, there may be slight variations in size.

Made to order prints

We are delighted to offer a collection of made to order theatre art prints in collaboration with King and McGaw. Each print is made by hand in the UK, which does mean these take a little longer to prepare.   

King and McGaw will dispatch your custom print directly to you from their studio in Sussex. It can take up to four weeks for prints to be created and sent. You will receive a shipping notification via email, when your print has been dispatched.

1. Print size guide

Find the right sized print for your home with our print size guide.

The guide contains dimensions for each size print, framed and unframed, as well as for stretched canvases.

2. Print borders

Framed and unframed prints come with a white border around the image. This measures 10% of the longest edge measurement.

Canvas prints do not have a border. The print covers the entirety of the canvas. The canvas edges are blank.

3. Print frames

All our print on demand prints come with the option of being mounted in a black, white or natural oak frame.

Stretched canvases cannot be framed.

4. Print delivery

Print on demand prints are made to order by King and McGaw.

They are shipped directly to you from their studio.
