Who is eligible?
We offer educational institutions the opportunity to pay via invoice for orders over £100, and who plan on making frequent orders with us in the future.
Looking to purchase large quantities?
We are able to facilitate orders for large quantities of plays and books, even if the website says these are unavailable.

Does educational discount apply?
Yes, all educational orders purchased via our online shop will receive an educational discount, regardless of payment method.
We offer
- 10% off orders over £100
- 15% off orders over £250
When generating your invoice, we will apply this discount per item.
Can't find a certain play or book?
Please contact us if you are interested in ordering a certain play or book as part of an educational order.
Our book buyer will investigate whether it is possible to add this to your order.
Need to raise a PO for your order?
If you require a purchase order, please send this to us before we generate the invoice. Please contact us in advance to coordinate this. We will need your purchase order to quote on the payment invoice.
Do you have a different billing and shipping addresses?
If your organisation has different billing and shipping addresses, please ensure these details are entered separately in the relevant sections at checkout.
We will contact you to confirm the address details on the invoice and shipment are correct.
Are any products exempt from the educational discount?
Yes, we do not offer discount on National Theatre Honey, print on demand items or gift boxes.
How to pay via invoice

Step-by-step guide
Please follow the below steps to set up payment via invoice using your customer account.
1. Create an account
To create an account, please use this link. You will need access to your email account for a one-time code verification.
Please use your educational/professional email address when creating your account.
Once you have set up your account, you can edit your name and saved addresses, making the checkout process simpler.
You will only need to create your account once. If you are looking to place a repeat order, you do not need to complete step one or two again, as long as you are logged into the same account at the time of placing your new order.
2. Email our team
Once you have created a customer account, please contact us via email to let us know.
We will use the email address associated with your new account to enable payment via invoice at checkout.
Without this step, the payment via invoice option will not appear as a payment method at checkout.
Only once we have enabled your account will you be able to proceed with payment via invoice.
3. Place your order
We will confirm via email as soon as we have enabled your account to pay via invoice.
From here, you can browse our online shop and add items to your basket. Once you are happy with your order, please proceed to checkout and select pay via invoice to complete your order.
To note, we are only able to accept invoice payments for orders over £100.
4. Order confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted your order. Our team will begin the process of fulfilling your order. We will email you with further updates and tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Our finance team will use the information on your order to generate an invoice for payment. This will be emailed over to you shortly after placing your order. Please note, our payment terms are 30 days.
