Festive delivery information
We recommend that you take a look at our festive delivery times to ensure your gift-giving is hassle-free. If you have any questions about your order or our delivery times, please contact us.
Last order dates
The last order date is the final day you can place your order with us to be delivered in time for December 25th. We have calculated these dates using Royal Mail's Christmas 2024 schedule.
We will still be shipping out orders until Friday 20th December; however if you order after the last order dates below, you are not guaranteed to receive your order before 25th December.
We strongly recommend placing your orders in advance of the last order dates.
UK second class delivery via Royal - Tuesday 17th December
UK special delivery via Royal Mail - Thursday 19th December
International tracked via Royal Mail - Thursday 6th December
Click and collect
You can collect your online orders at our bookshop up until Saturday 21st December. However, please make sure you place your online order by Thursday 19th December and make sure you have received a collection notification email before arriving to collect your order. Without this, we cannot guarantee your order will be ready to collect.
Delivery delays
Unfortunately due to increased demand on our postal service at this time of year, there are slight delays in our standard delivery times. We are working hard to make sure orders are processed and packaged quickly to reduce any delays in delivery time. We thank you for your patience in awaiting the arrival of your online orders.
Print on demand
Our exclusive collection of customisable prints make a wonderful gifts for theatre lovers. These prints are handmade and shipped by King and McGaw in Sussex. As such, the last order dates for custom prints differ from other items in our shop.

Framed prints
UK - Sunday 8th December
Rest of world - Sunday 1st December
Please note, King and McGaw will be closed for their festive break from Monday 23rd December until Thursday 2nd January. All orders placed during this period will not be processed and shipped until January.
Is your order a gift?
Don't forget we can send your order to an alternative address at checkout. Simply, input the recipient's address in the shipping address section and your order will be delivered directly to their door.

We are pleased to offer our customers free standard delivery for UK orders over £100. This offer does not include print-on-demand prints or subscriptions.
Temporary pause on Europe and Northern Ireland shipping
Unfortunately, we have temporarily suspended our shipping to Europe and Northern Ireland due to a new EU law, GSPR, that comes into affect on 13th December 2024.
We are working on a solution so we can resume shipping to these destinations soon. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Standard delivery times
We ship out our items using Royal Mail. We aim to ship your item within two working days. You will receive email confirmation once your order has shipped.
Our standard delivery times vary according to the delivery destination and delivery service chosen. Delivery takes approximately:
UK: 2–5 working days
Europe: 5–7 working days
Rest of the world: 10–14 working days
If your order contains print-on-demand prints or subscriptions, these will be dispatched separately to the rest of your order.

Our subscriptions are excluded from our free shipping offer.

Delivery costs are a one off fee charged when you purchase a subscription. This charge covers all monthly postage costs throughout the duration of your subscription.

Subscription delivery times
On purchasing a subscription, you will receive a welcome pack. You will receive your first title at the start of the next new month. We send out our subscriptions at the start of every month.

Print on demand delivery times
We are delighted to be able to offer customisable print-on-demand prints in collaboration with King and McGaw. Each print is made by hand in the UK, which does mean these take a little longer to prepare.
King and McGaw will dispatch your custom print directly to you from their studio in Sussex. It can take up to four weeks for prints to be created and sent.
You will receive a shipping notification via email when your order has been dispatched.
If you have ordered other items, which are not printed on demand, these will be shipped separately by our team at the bookshop and standard delivery times apply.
Order tracking
We send international orders tracked. If you have placed an international order, you will receive a tracking number in your shipping dispatch email. If you cannot see your tracking number, please contact us for this.
For UK orders, we offer the option of an upgraded special delivery service at checkout for £11.95 for orders under £50 and £16.95 for orders over £50. This allows UK orders to be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and a tracking number will be supplied to customers using this delivery option.
Otherwise UK orders are sent second class via Royal Mail. Please note, these orders are not sent tracked.
Exceptional delivery charges
Please note, we reserve the right to vary postage charges as necessary on items that are unusually high in weight, volume or value. We will contact customers to agree the required rate prior to shipping.
There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. National Theatre Enterprises is not responsible for paying these charges.
Part deliveries
If you have ordered more than one item, there is a chance that we will ship out your items to you in separate parcels. Our team will contact you to let you know.
Print on demand items and subscriptions will also be sent out separately from the rest of your order.
Order status
To view your order status, simply log in to ‘Your Account’ and select ‘Track Packages’. To do this, you will need to create an account with us first. All your orders can be found here, alongside their dispatch and delivery status.
If your order is yet to be dispatched, you should be able to amend your shipping address and certain order details, without having to contact us. You can do this via ‘Your Account’.
